Simeon Peebler Named Chair of Game Development
Simeon Peebler is an award-winning game developer whose career has spanned the full spectrum of the game industry. He has most recently worked as a senior engineer and consultant for a trading technology firm located in Chicago.
He is credited on many PC CD-ROMS including Where's Waldo?: Exploring Geography, Eraser: Turnabout, Warheads, You Don't Know Jack: The 5th Dementia, and Veggie Tales: Veggie Carnival. Through his own game development and publishing company, Brain Block Interactive, Simeon designed, engineered and marketed many downloadable games which include Logication, Super Bubbles, Bloink, Arcade Mah Jongg and Ammo Boy.
Simeon is thrilled to share his passion for interactive entertainment with students who are up for the challenge of building games for tomorrow's world. His recent experience in other industries provides a valuable backdrop for understanding how game development can be transposed to any application in any domain.
