Monique DeVasquez discovered her passion for films while working as a manager at American Eagle. Watching music videos every day at work, she wondered, “Who makes these videos? How can I get involved in that industry?” Her questions lead her to Columbia Chicago. After a short but sweet semester, she transferred to Flashpoint Academy. During her time at Flashpoint Academy she has sharpened her knowledge and passion for writing, producing, and being a hard-line first assistant director. She is constantly learning new things about her craft to make her a better, more well-rounded filmmaker.
