Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Matt became interested in films from a very young age. In elementary school he fell in love with Raiders of the Lost Ark and Back to the Future. These films, and others like them, led Matt to want to become a filmmaker. During his high school years, Matt’s passion for filmmaking showed as he worked on a wide range of projects, including: shorts, music videos, commercials and PSA’s. Since then, Matt has deeply immersed himself in a wide variety of films, and to this day it has had a profound influence on his creative process. Matt’s goal is to work as a director of feature films and documentaries.
