Film & Broadcast faculty openings

SEEKING FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME FILM & BROADCAST INSTRUCTORS

Flashpoint Academy is currently seeking full and part-time, tenure track faculty members for teaching and leadership in the Film/Broadcast Major. 

• Ideal candidates should have teaching experience at the college level as well as a strong reel of professional work proving an extensive track record (5 to 10 years) in producing/directing for broadcast as well as studio production experience.
  
  
• Our desired candidates should be prepared to teach an array of introductory and advanced courses and to be involved closely in refining curriculum in various areas including the internet and mobile media concentration.
  
  
• The ability to translate high professional standards to an academic environment is critical for this position.
  
  
• In addition to teaching, responsibilities include: ongoing professional achievement, mentoring and advising students, curriculum development, and a commitment to teaching excellence.
  
  
• Our students are expected to balance their education requirements with extensive preparation to enter the Film and Broadcast industry and we require a professional who can model professionalism for our students while working in a dynamic learning environment.
  
  
• Having a graduate degree is preferred for this position but not required.
